Trekking in Mustang Region, Nepal
Mustang has a long, rich and complex history
that makes it one of the most interesting places
in Nepal and offering a fantastic landscape and
a very untouched life style, culture and
tradition which is very much influenced by
Tibetans. Mustang has been described as a
thumb-like part of Nepal extending into Tibet
and Sakyapa form of Tibetan Buddhism is highly
practised, this sect was established at Sakya
monastery in Tibet. It is situated the central
north of Nepal and behind the Himalayas and rain
shaded area so it is unique to trek in summer
seasons. Since 1994 the Government opened this
forbidden Kingdom for the limited number of
tourist every year.
Mustang Trek Itinerary:
Day 01: Upon arrival at airport, hearty
welcome by our representative and transfer
to Hotel and brief about the program
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and
preparation for trekking.
Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara and rest day

Day 04: Fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni
Day 05: Trek to Chele
Day 06: Trek to Shyangmochen
Day 07: Trek to Geling
Day 08: Trek to Tsarang
Day 09: Trek to Lo Manthang
Day 10: Lo Manthang –Graphu- Lo Manthang
Day 11: Lo Manthang- Tingkar –Lo Manthang
Day 12: Trek toTsarang
Day 13: Trek to Tange
Day 14: Trek to Tsale
Day 15: Trek to Nari
Day 16: Trek to Muktinath
Day 17: Trek to Jomsom
Day 18: Fly back to Pokhara and rest day

Day 19: Fly or drive back to Kathmandu and
rest day free.
Day 20: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 21: Depature transfer to international
airport to connect onwards destination
